VAV, FPU Properties

Property Name Description
Body | Depth Positive <numeric value>
  • Sets the depth of entire unit.
Body | Length Positive <numeric value>
  • Sets overall length.
Body | Width Positive <numeric value>
  • Sets the width of entire unit.
Cell Library <cell library file name>
  • Library file name for device cells.
Cell Symbol Name <cell name>
  • Sets the model cell to the device.
Prerequisite of proper Cell Library for AHUs.
Coil | Offset Positive <numeric value>
  • Sets distance between the two coil connections. Limited by device body dimension properties.
Coil Connection | Side
  • 1-back
  • 2-front
  • 3-top
  • 4-bottom
  • Sets the location or surface on the unit for coil connections.
Coil Connection | Outer Diameter Positive <numeric value>
  • Sets outside diameter of coil connections.
Coil Connection | Offset Positive <numeric value>
  • Sets an offset distance between coil connections and back of device.
Coil | Type
  • 0-none
  • 1-plumbing
  • 2-electrical
  • Sets the type of heating coil.

    Type plumbing adds provision for inlet/outlet of pipes.
Connection 1 | Length (L1) Positive <numeric value>
  • Sets straight length at End1.
  • Sets connection length at End1.
Connection 2 | Length (L2) Positive <numeric value>
  • Sets straight length at End2.
  • Sets connection length at End2.
Connection 3 | Length (L3) Positive <numeric value>
  • Sets straight length at End3.

Adds to the Body Length property.

Connection | End Type fl -<numeric value>
  • Sets and sizes end with a flange connection.
m -<numeric value>
  • Sets and sizes end with a male connection.
fe -<numeric value>
  • Sets and sizes end with a female connection.
Separate End Type entries for each End Spec with a semi colon.

Example: fl-2;fe-.13 creates a flange at End1 with size 2, and a female connection at End2 with an overall reduction of component's dimensions of .13

  • Sets the offset distance between the bottom of the control box and the bottom of the device on which it is mounted.

  • Sets the width of the control box mounted on the unit.
Control1 Width Positive <numeric value>
  • Sets the width of the first control box mounted on a dual inlet device.
Control2 Width Positive <numeric value>
  • Sets the width of the second control box mounted on a dual inlet device.
Electrical Extension Positive <numeric value>
  • Sets length of electrical connection box.
    Note: Coil Type property must be set to <2–electrical>.
Induction Bottom Distance Positive <numeric value>
  • Sets offset distance between the bottom of induction opening and the bottom of device box. Limited by body dimensional properties.
Induction Depth Positive <numeric value>
  • Sets induction opening depth. Limited by body dimensional properties.
Induction Length Positive <numeric value>
  • Sets induction opening length.
Induction Side Distance Positive <numeric value>
  • Sets offset distance between the side of induction opening and the side of device box. Limited by body dimensional properties.
Induction Width Positive <numeric value>
  • Sets induction opening width. Limited by body dimensional properties.
Inlet | Bottom Distance Positive <numeric value>
  • Sets offset distance between the bottom of End1 and the bottom of device box. Limited by body dimensional properties.
Inlet | Offset Positive <numeric value>
  • Sets offset distance between the inlets on a dual inlet device.
Limited by the sum of the inlet radii and the size of the device enclosure.
Inlet | Side Distance Positive <numeric value>
  • Sets offset distance between the side of End1 and the side of device box. Limited by body dimensional properties.
Outlet Bottom Distance Positive <numeric value>
  • Sets offset distance between the bottom of End2 and the bottom of device box. Limited by body dimensional properties.
Outlet | Side Distance Positive <numeric value>
  • Sets offset distance between the side of End2 and the side of device box. Limited by body dimensional properties.
Replaced Cell Tag <tag>;<tag>;<tag>;<tag>
  • Sets tags displayed in drawing output.
This property is set to un-editable by default.
Side Distance Positive <numeric value>
  • Sets the offset distance between the device enclosure's front side and the center line of the first inlet (End1).
Tag <alpha-numeric characters>
  • Sets tag value visible in output of drawing composition in dynamic view. Separate tag strings with a semi colon
VAV Box Type
  • 1-leftHanded
  • 2-rightHanded
  • Sets the side of the control box on the unit.
By default, set hidden by in catalog Editor.

Modifying this property maintains the location of the inlets.
